Dirtmovers was founded in 2021 by Michael Grassick, a heavy machinery operator and mechanic for over 15 years. Michael has worked in some of the remotest parts of Australia in the civil and mining sectors. Since 2017 Michael has worked with some of Australia’s biggest earthmoving magazines and websites as a freelance photographer and videographer while running a web design and marketing agency. Apart from the design elements Michael brings, Dirtmovers are also backed by an estimating division that has seen over 1 trillion dollars of estimates of various large scale construction projects crossing the desk and over 65 years of construction estimating experience.

Calculations contained in the assessment exercises are based on fully detailed first principle estimate calculations, reconciled with detailed information from major earthmoving and civil construction projects, collected over time. This coupled with industry knowledge of plant operation in a civil and mining environment over the past 15 years.
